His Beatitude Sava
Orthodox Church
of Poland was recognized by the Ecumenical
Patriarchate as an independent church in 1924.
The Church of Poland consists of 6 bishoprics,
263 parishes and 330 priests, 4 male and 3
female monasteries. The head of the Church today
is Sava, Metropolitan of Warsaw and all Poland,
appointed on 5th May 1998.
