The relics of St. Serafim Sarof for first time came out of Russia and by the accompanying of Archibishop Nizgorod Georgios and the Abbot of the Nunnery of St. Serafim Mother Sergia with 40 members of a choir to Athens,  from 3- 29 October. Thousands  worshipers from the Balcan Countries and Greece came to venerate the relics of a famous saint of Rusian and all Orthodox world.
