The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew has been invited for first time to adress the Synod of the Roman Catholic Church in Vatican on 18 10 2008. In His honor this year Synod holded in Capela Sixtina where are the famous paintings Michail Angelo. Later the Ecumenical Patriarch and Pope Benedict XVI had a meeting about the progress of the dialogue between the Eastern and Western Christianity.
